Saturday 16th November was a proud day for the under 16 boys as they collected their Academy Ties. The squad currently has 44 boys and has two teams, one playing in Hampshire division 1 and one in Hampshire division 4. Both teams have had a great start to the season and are unbeaten in their respective leagues.

A lot of the boys have been with the club for a long time with 13 being with the team since under 7’s.

The squad built with players of all abilities which has had great success over the years including:

• Back to back Hampshire Cup Champions
• Back to back Lytchett sevens champions
• South Coast Egg chasers 7’s Champions
• Worthing 10’s Champions
• Eight players currently in the Bath regional set up

The boys give their all every week and are a credit to Havant Rugby Club. The boys are off to enjoy a tour in Holland later in the season and then we hope to see the boys in the Academy squad next year.
