Jay had never played Kabaddi until October this year when she was scouted while playing for Havant against Newbury, this fact making her achievement all the more remarkable! Whilst the HRFC ladies are missing one of their players, they’re completely behind Jay, watching the games and sending her messages of support. The girls have already won their first game in the tournament against Mexico and the next game is on Saturday 7th December, it’s being broadcast on PTC Punjabi (channel 822 on Sky TV) and is available via YouTube so you can see Jay and her teammates in action.
